Reflection of 2013 + Welcoming 2014

2013 has been a huge year for me. I quit my big corporate job to pursue my dream to inspire, heal and transform the lives of others as a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Just about everyone told me I was crazy for doing it. I was told "This is the reason you went to college was for the job you have now" and "Wow, Aren't you scared?" or I just received dirty looks. Needless to say, my support system was limited.

The financial industry was all I knew for the past 8 years. So yes, there was some sort of fear to leave it behind and start something new. I am the only person in my family to go to college and graduate with a degree. Having a high paying salary job was just the icing on the cake. It's easy to stay where you are at because of comfort but does that mean you're really living? I knew that I wasn't living to my potential, that I was meant for something else, that everything I have experienced was for a purpose.

Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we have learned. I realized I needed to forget what everyone was telling me and just go for it. What's the worst that could happen? We are often overcome with the fear of failing that we don't go for what we really want.

With 2014 approaching, I look back on 2013 with gratitude. I am now Board Certified and all of the awards, promotions, achievments I experienced in the Corporate Industry fales to compare to the feeling I get from working with my clients and making a difference in their life.

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

2013 was a wonderful year with so many blessings. 2014 will be better.

What are you waiting for? What will it take for you to dive in to your dreams?
