Glowing Red Smoothie
Whenever I am on the go, I try to bring snacks or my meals with me if I know I will be gone a long time. I used to be one of those people who would just go by the drive-through and pick something up, before you knew it I was at my heaviest and couldn’t understand why. The first thing I changed was making sure I was prepared!
Part of being prepared is not being bored with your food right? Bring on the Glowing Red Smoothie. This baby is delicious! I will make this ahead of time and put it in my six pack cooler. It stays cold and I like to sometimes add ice cubes to it.
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of Organic Blueberries
1 cup of Organic Raspberries
1/2 Organic Orange, peeled
1 tbsp Goji Berries
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
I also sometimes add Activated Barley Powder and Maca Powder but you can add or change this recipe anyway you would like. This is my new favorite smoothie and sometimes I even have it for lunch and keeps me full for hours.
